HAIR: Vitaly's hair is very symbolic of who he is. His hair is a natural mess on top of his head, it can be styled for short periods of time but the mess of it is resilent and bounces back like a rubber band. His hair is chocolate brown and when he's out in the sun enough there are natural highlights added to the color. Vitaly's hair isn't too long but at the same time it isn't short. He keeps his hair long enough to run his hands through.
EYES: The Andreev family is filled with blue eyed people, and Vitaly inherited that family trait. His eyes are a gentle blue-green that seems to carry on flawlessly with the rest of his facial features. With the combination of dark hair and light eyes, Vitaly is quite desirable.

OVERALL HISTORY: Nicolai Sevastian Vasiliev was born to Anya and Viktor Vasiliev on April 6 1986 in Norilsk, Siberia. Nicolai was the couple's second son, and the son that made the biggest impact on the Vasiliev family. Nicolai was a very intelligent child and that became evident at a very young age. When the boy was four years old and he started school he surpassed the other children in his class, as he went through school his intelligence became even more evident. There were many times when Nicolai could have truthfully claimed that he was smarter than his teachers, though because he had grown up in a nation and family that demanded respect for all elders, Nicolai never said it out loud.
Nicolai finished school early at the age of seventeen and he then went on to University in Moscow. In the summer after his first year at University Nicolai returned home to Norilsk with his family. The eighteen year old had changed over the year he had been away and his family realized this very quickly, almost too quickly. Nicolai had not expected that his family would not take well to how he had changed while he had been away. Nicolai also did not expect that he would have to do what he did to his family.
At University Nicolai had studied Psychology and had decided to major in that field, in Psychology he had studied mental illness, sociology and he had even gone far enough to try to understand the mind of a serial killer. He had gone so far in his curiosity that he wanted to understand first hand what it was like to take a human life. The first woman’s life that he took was a young girl names Emily who was in his foreign language class. She was studying abroad, she was an American student. He became friends with her so that he would know more about where she lived, her daily routine and her habits. He wanted to understand every aspect of a serial killer that would premeditate each murder. He planned out very careful each detail of what he would do and once he had known Emily for nearly seven months, he took his plan to action.
On the night of March 12 2004, Nicolai took Emily out to dinner. He offered to take her home and just as he had expected she would, Emily asked for him to come in. He came into her small apartment and made sure that he locked the door behind him. He carried his bag with him, and as he had planned Emily thought nothing of it. He sat on her couch and they talked for quite some time before Emily leaned forward, hinting that she wanted him to kiss her. Nicolai kissed her and his hand caressed her neck softly, and within a few moments the soft gesture turned violent. He pressed his finger into the back of her neck sharply and quickly, knocking her unconscious immediately. He didn’t want her to be conscious, because he pitied her and he wasn’t sure if he could handle her being conscious when he killed her. As if her state of consciousness really made the murder right.
When her body was found it was a shock all around the University campus, and Nicolai feigned mourning. His fascination with murder and taking a human life became more and more deadly then before. His mother noticed the change in her son the day he returned home and her two other children noticed it soon after her. Her husband was quick to catch onto what the change meant and when he did, Viktor condemned his whole family to death at the hands of his own son. Nicolai had no choice but to kill his family because he felt that they knew too much, and he couldn’t jeopardize his studies. The ‘disappearance’ of the Vasiliev family went relatively unnoticed for three years.
During that time Nicolai had nearly made a hobby of murdering people. Nearly three years after his family had been killed, the corpses were found and Nicolai was reported as a missing person. Soon after the most careless murder Nicolai had committed had come close to catching up with him and now not only was Nicolai a missing person but he was a wanted missing person. At the age of twenty one, Nicolai took the name Vitaly Mikhail Andreev, a man that he had murdered. The body of Vitaly Mikhail was never found because there was no body left nor was there a single person left looking for him. Vitaly was an old man whose family had died many years ago, and when Nicolai took his identity it was as if the real Vitaly Andreev had never even existed.
Nicolai, now Vitaly, left Russia before his twenty second birthday and moved to the United States of America. He first moved to New York City where he applied for a passport and green card. He became a legal resident alien and soon moved from New York to Encore City. He has now lived in Encore for close to two years and has obtained a job as a training therapist; he is studying at the Encore University to complete his college degree so that he can have his own practice. Vitaly hasn’t dared to take a life in the United States because now with the technology that forensic science has he would never be able to get away with it. Vitaly lives as if he was a simple and normal man and he has come up with his own fake history so that he wouldn’t seem suspicious. To his knowledge no one suspects that he is who he really is.
