Cammie let herself get lost in those icy eyes as he rested his forehead on hers. She wanted to do as he requested, but it was near impossible not to think about Jewels, now that she'd invited those thoughts in. But he was begging, and so she'd try. "Okay," she said, offering him a little smile. And with that, her lips were against his once more, in another soft, sweet kiss. But after a few moments, she pulled away again and sank to the ground. She didn't look sad or anything, but she wasn't feeling that euphoric feeling she'd had a couple of minutes ago, that was for sure. She tugged on his hand and waited until he was down on the ground with her. She leaned against him, resting her head on his shoulder, and looking out at the river and the trees that surrounded them. "I'm sorry," she mumbled, tilting her head upwards to face him. "I'm no fun anymore." And then another thought struck her. It surprised her so much that Jewels was instantly out of her head.
This, being with Jason right now, had nothing to do with his money or his rock star status. In fact, the way she was feeling right now about him was a way she hadn't felt before. At least, not that she could remember. She was genuniely attracted to him, and it wasn't for any material thing. What, then, was so amazing about him to her? He was incredibly handsome, that was true. That accent was totally alluring. But it wasn't either of those. Yes, he was physically attractive. But, she decided, it had to be the fact that she was seeing him be real. Her whole life, she'd been around fake people. This was one time where neither of them were being fake or superficial. It was wonderful. Almost instantly, she was back to being fun and happy.
"When you say, don't think about anything else, did you mean kissing you, or just us in general?" Oh yes, they were an 'us' now. They didn't need to be boyfriend-girlfriend us, but there was definitely something going on inside her, those feelings weren't for nothing. If nothing else, the 'us' could simply apply her being his cheering up party. She took his hand again and looked down at it as she laced her fingers with his. "This is so easy." She hadn't meant to say that out loud. It was a thought, but it had slipped out. Hopefully, he wouldn't think she was weird for it. But it was true. She felt like being around him was so easy, like they were supposed to be friends, or something.

He didn’t like the fact that she kept stopping; it was driving him crazy in a way he didn’t really understand. He got to the ground with her though and he played with her hair gently. He tried to study her a little, to understand her some more. He didn’t know what it was about this woman that made him feel like this and act like this, what made her special? Yes she was attractive, she was fucking gorgeous, at least that’s what he thought. But what made her special? He had been with so many women, so many gorgeous women. Models, actresses, singers, reality stars, fans, you name it Jason had been with one. Jason had been with some of the worlds most beautiful people probably and yet she made such an impact on him.
He didn’t know what it was about her; maybe it was the way that she presented herself, so much like him. Maybe it was the way that she was able to just give in to something new, maybe it was the way she made him smile? Why the hell could she do that? He smiled sometimes around Amber, but most of the time now he was too afraid that every visit would be his last that those smiles were weighed down with something sad. “Us?” He asked, looking at her this time he was confused. He was unaware there was going to be an us, or them or a we or anything fucking plural at this point. Then again he usually wasn’t even like this.
“I don’t exactly know what I meant. I think I just meant I didn’t want you to think about… other things, other than this right now.” He shrugged and held her hand as her fingers laced with his. He smiled without any teeth and kissed her head lightly. “Yeah… it is…” No, it really wasn’t. He just didn’t want to ruin this moment because nothing that involved him would ever be easy. He wanted to make her get up and hate him and run away from him and never come back, sort of like with Jewels because he would hurt her. He always hurt people. It was him or the things that came with him. Jason Levito was ridiculously famous and that had its pros and cons. He would hurt her or his career would, he knew that. He wanted to tell her to get away from him, but he could bring himself to do that. “Maybe, there could be something more than just this… maybe there could be an us?” He said the last word like it was something unusual to him and it probably wouldn’t take Cammie to realize that it was. Jason Levito hadn’t been reported to have a girlfriend for over two years, since his divorce.

"What are you suggesting, Jay?" Cammie asked, sitting up and looking at him now. Jason Levito hadn't had a girlfriend in at least two years, as far as she could remember from looking at magazines and the like. This definitely didn't seem like something he'd say, and she wasn't expecting it in the least. Besides, what would Jewels say? If Jason was suggesting what it sounded like, she wsn't sure if she could do it. Jason gave her feelings she couldn't remember having, not in this way anyway. She wanted to be around him more than anything. She wanted to feel his arms around her, to feel his lips on hers. She wanted to be the girl that could make him smile. Right now, she was getting everything she wanted. And suddenly, a pretty selfish thought popped into her head. Why should she let Jewels ruin this for her? It was Jewels' own fault Jason reacted to her the way he did. She shouldn't have thrown herself at him like that, in his weakest moment. She shouldn't have been so easy.
Under normal circumstances, she wouldn't be thinking like this. But these weren't normal circumstances. These were special circumstances. Jason wanted Cammie, and she wanted him, too. And now Cam had the chance to help Jason, to bring that smile to his eyes and maybe even help him keep Amber, as unlikely as that seemed. But she'd try. She'd try, because there was something about this man that she couldn't get out of her head. She didn't know what it was, but he was something important, something special. And she wasn't going to let guilt for Jewels ruin that for her. Not now.

A small, almost nervous laugh danced out of his throat and Jason shrugged. “I’ve no idea what the hell I mean.” The British man said, shaking his head. “I haven’t even suggested something like this… for years…I mean, if you want, it’s not easy. To be my—uh— girlfriend.” He said that last word like it was one of the strangest words in the world. Which to Jason Levito, it was a pretty strange word, coming from his lips. He never even called Casey his girlfriend, when they got married he barely referred to her as his wife either. She was just… Casey, his Casey, it was an unusual relationship. And when he with Ainsley, she wasn’t his girlfriend, she was just Ainsley. And even now that they had a child together, he never really called her his ex girlfriend or anything she was just Ainsley.
The idea that maybe Cammie would feel bad for Jewels had come across his mind but he pushed it so far away that it didn’t seem relevant to him. Like Jewels had never been a part of his life, because now she wasn’t nor would she ever be again. After all the years, she believed that he, Jason Levito, would love her. She was his drug dealer; she was someone that would easily sleep with him. She would drop everything to run to him if he asked her of it. She was much too easy for him, there was no chase involved, she chased him more than he had ever chased her. “But if you want it… “ His voice was soft then and he ran his fingers through her hair softly, playing with the blonde strands. “I’d try with you.” He was honest; he was very honest in those four simple words. He barely knew her, but did that matter? This was real life and yet Jason Levito felt like it was going like a movie. During the worst time in his life, he was coming across something wonderful. Something beautiful… didn’t this only happen in movies?

Cammie listened to him speak. And, while he didn't say very much, the message in between his words came across loud and clear. He'd be willing to try a relationship with her, if she wanted one. There was a lot to think about. Of course she wanted a relationship with him. He was gorgeous, he was rich... But if that was his only appeal, she wouldn't have thought twice about him because of Jewels. But she was seriously considering a relationship with Jason Levito, and she wasn't even too sure why. He was amazing. She didn't even know him, and she knew that. She felt drawn to him, as if by some unseen force. She couldn't help but want to be with him, despite the awful first impression he'd given her.
"What do you want?" she asked. The last four words he'd said, I'd try with you, certainly implied that he wanted to be with her, too. But, she was a girl, and she needed to hear him say it. She didn't want to have to read between the lines with him. Not about this. "If you could have your way, right now, everything else aside. What do you want?" If fame and fortune didn't exsist, if photographers weren't following him around, if Jewels wouldn't care, if their names wouldn't be plastered all over magazines and tabloids, what would he want? Would he still want her? If the answer was no, then she'd have no problem taking this for what it was. She'd be his friend, if he wanted. She wouldn't hold it against him.

“I want—”
There were many things he wanted, he wanted Amber. He wanted his sanity. He wanted to feel like this everyday, he wanted to feel that real smile spread across. He wanted to know that he was going to be able to keep doing the things he was doing now, like making music. He wanted to know that there would still be an Autumn Falls. He wanted to know that he wasn’t going to be committed to an institution. He wanted to know that, although Jewels was gone, that her promise that no one would commit him was still going to stand. He wanted to know that Shannon would be there when he fucked up again. Jason Levito had wanted many things that, was easy to see, though they were things that were reasonable for him to want. They were things like his daughter and the promise that he would still be able to be himself. Was that wrong?
“You.”
The words seemed so simple and easy for him to say. He said them as if that whole train of thought of what he had wanted had never been there. He said the words as if she was the one thing that Jason Levito had wanted at that moment. She was one of the things he wanted, he wanted her intensely at that moment. He wanted her to be there not just for today, but for tomorrow, for next week, for next month and hell maybe if things were really as good as they seemed they could be, maybe next year. He wanted her, no; he needed her for some reason. She was turning into something like air to him, it wasn’t something he wanted it wasn’t just another thing he needed to have, it was a necessity that he had her. He barely knew her, he didn’t know much more than her name and he felt that way. It could have been because he was so fragile, so desperate and so weak that she mattered more to him than she would have, say two months ago.
His icy eyes narrowed on her as he put a hand under her chin and lifted her head up, pressing his lips to hers. He liked the way her lips seemed to fit on his like two perfect puzzle pieces. Cammie made him feel different; she made him feel like this wasn’t something he had done constantly and almost professionally for so many years. Jason has been with so many women, so many lips have been on his but somehow it was only three women, other than Cammie that had really made an impact on him. Janell Stone, Ainsley Williams and Casey Evans the three women that Jason had actually really been able to remember, and even on good days, connect with. It seemed that this heart breaker would add a fourth name to the list of women who had actually been able to touch his stone cold heart.

Cammie smiled at his words. He wanted her. He had hesitated for just a second, and she was sure he was thinking about a million other things he wanted, but she was so happy to be included in that list. She couldn't explain it, but he was so important to her. The only things she knew about him were his name and that he was rich and famous, a rock star, someone everyone loved. But the love they now had the potential for went beyond that. She couldn't even believe that she would be even remotely thinking of falling in love with Jason Levito. How had her seeing him at a coffee shop and wanting to make him feel better turn into a relationship? Things happened in weird ways, didn't they?
She kissed him back, and then pulled away and rested her forehead on his. "Then you can have me," she told him, biting her lower lip a little. "I'm all yours." And then, almost as if to make up for stopping so much, she kissed him again, with a little more romance. It still felt as sweet and relaxed, but it was the kind of kiss that said, I belong to you. She wrapped her arms around his neck and sank into him, pleased with the day's outcome. Today had definitely turned out to be a good day. She had nearly hated this man at one point, for hurting her friend so much. And now, here she was, hidden beneath the trees at a secluded river spot, making out with him and becoming his girlfriend. What a switch. Oh, god. What was Jewels going to say? But she pushed those thoughts out of her mind. Right now, she wanted to think about the moment she was in, and nothing of the bad future that probably was coming her way, the second Jewels found out. And she would. Jason was famous. That would make Cammie famous by association. But she could pretend that that didn't matter. She would have to, for Jason's sake. He already had enough going on without worrying that Cammie was being emotionally effected by everything.

The way she’d bit her lip had nearly sent him over the edge because he found something about it completely and crazily sexy. He pulled her body closer to him as she kissed him again and then he moved so that he was on top of her. He didn’t lay his full weight on her; he supported himself with one arm and ran his hands through her hair with the other. The thought that there was a high possibility that they weren’t alone didn’t matter to him until he heard the sound of snapping twigs relatively close to where they were. Although reluctantly his lips were separated from hers and he looked for where the person who had been walking through the woods was. He frowned and his eyes narrowed trying to find the person. He spotted the camera before he saw the man holding it and he simply closed his eyes and sighed. Slowly getting to his feet and offering a hand to Cammie to help her up.
“As had as this may be for you to fucking understand, you know I am a person too, right?” Jason snapped at the man, his voice almost sounding defeated. As this became his life, this stalking from the disgusting fucks known as paparazzi, Jason had hated his career and his life more. The man seemed to instinctively protect his camera as if he were anticipating Jason to come up to him and hurt the piece of plastic junk that had probably gotten many pictures of Cammie and Jason just now. “I know that.” The man said to Jason as the singer rolled his eyes. “Treat me like one, alright?”
It was very obvious that Jason hated this life more than he liked it. This was his dream, to show the world his music, what was not his dream was the stalking photographers, the constant sound of clicking cameras and people asking him question. The desperation to know everything going on in his life, this he never wanted. Sure sometimes he acted like he liked it, when he was wasted, when he was sober and in a clear mind, this life was furthest from what he wanted. He held Cammie’s hand as he pushed passed the man with the camera and headed back to where the car was, a little scoff emitted from his throat as he could feel the flash of the camera. “It’s ridiculous, isn’t it?” Jason muttered.
Sometimes it wasn’t like this; it was really this intense when something serious was going on. Something serious like his battle in the court right now. "Let me get my car, and we can either go somewhere where they can't find us, or our own seperate ways...for now." He added in the last bit slowly after he said the first of his statement. It was strange to him, how he felt like he actually wanted to be around Cammie.
