Secretely we all just want to be supermna. The thing is that all that super hero junk that we hear about is all just fantasy. We know that. We are mortal, we are not invincible. If we fall hard enough, we break skin; if we hit the ground too quickly, we’ll break. We are not like them, as mortals our death is obsolete. So we live like mortals, day after day something new. We have to live our lives knowing that every day could be our last. Welcome to Encore City, population 27,964 here every day it’s like tomorrow will never come, or couldn’t come any sooner. Here it’s very real how subject to death we—as humans—will always be. Encore City is the kind of place where people live up their lives. It is the kind of place where the nutjobs come to get away from the things they've done. The impression that nothing wrong happens here is immediately radiated from the city, the best part about that is that evil is all around you. In Encore City the people are real, just as you imagine you and I are. People keep secrets, people lie, people laugh, people smile, drug dealers carry on business discreetly, news is made, people die, people are born and most of all the people of Encore City are very much mortal. At any given moment they could take their last breath, and that is truly the thrill of life. Unfortunately we lost a member or two, but that's nothing we can't handle, right?! Also, our first June Spotlights are up, congratz to Jason, Eme, Madden && Eme and Jason (again) Haha. We still have a temporary ban on females. The ratio isn't quite as balanced as we'd like, so please bring in some boys so we can get more girlies! It would be nice, too, if everyone could help and advertise or even show some of your friends. We'd like to keep Mortality going for as long as possible, we believe this could be an awesome forum.
